How I film a wedding
I look for the moments that matter most: the way you glance at each other before the ceremony begins, the nervous laughter during vows, the hugs that linger just a little longer, and the joyful chaos of the dance floor. I capture vows and toasts with clean audio so your story is carried by your own words, not just music.
I move with intention. Handheld and natural, never staged, so the film feels like living inside the memory, not watching a performance. You’ll hardly notice the camera, but afterward you’ll have a timeless story that reflects the real spirit of your day. I believe your wedding day should feel like your wedding day and not a movie set

I’m Manny Jenkins, the filmmaker behind Chapter One Films. I started creating videos in high school and have always been drawn to showing life in a unique way. Weddings inspire me because they are full of raw, genuine emotion. My goal is simple: to capture your story honestly so you can relive the way it felt for years to come.

Hey there! I'm Manny,
the filmmaker behind Chapter One Films. I picked up a camera as a freshman in high school and quickly realized I had a passion for showing the world in a different way. What started as a hobby turned into a lifelong love for telling stories through moving images. I run MAJ Productions, where we focus on corporate and real estate media.
Weddings drew me in because they’re real, emotional, and unrepeatable. No staged scenes, just raw moments, genuine laughter, and vows spoken from the heart. I believe in love, in its honesty and vulnerability, and I strive to capture it with the same care and intention you’ve put into your day.
For me, filming a wedding isn’t about creating a production — it’s about preserving the way it felt.
When I'm not behind the lens I’m usually spending time with my fiancée as we plan our own wedding for August 2026. A lot of evenings are spent hanging out at home with our two cats, Cudi and Pickle, who pretty much run the house.
